            Softball Recap: Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs vs. Charleston Trojans        
        
		
        
        
            Mahomet-Seymour managed to slip by Charleston the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost  13-3 to the Trojans on Monday. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won  12-11.
  Maddie Logsdon was cooking despite her team's loss,   going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madi White, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
Mahomet-Seymour has  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record  this season. As for Charleston, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mahomet-Seymour will venture away from home to  take on Urbana  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Charleston, they will take on Altamont at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 1.2  runs per game  this season, so the Trojans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
