Centerville is 9-1 against Miamisburg since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Centerville Elks will head out on the road to challenge the Miamisburg Vikings at 7:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, Miamisburg entered their tilt with Fairborn on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They took down the Skyhawks 43-27. The contest marked the Vikings' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Centerville better keep an eye on Andrew Hoerner. He was instrumental in Miamisburg's win, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 12 boards. Hoerner's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Hunter Derr, who posted two points and 12 rebounds.

Miamisburg smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Miamisburg pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Centerville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Centerville strolled past Miamisburg in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 82-63. The rematch might be a little tougher for Centerville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
