Football Recap: Mohave Accelerated Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mohave Accelerated was the 20-12 winner over Williams when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots took a blow against the Vikings on Thursday, falling 60-14.

Mohave Accelerated lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Rylan Krahenbuhl, who threw for 159 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards. A healthy portion of Krahenbuhl's aerial production (80 yards to be exact) went to Owen Honegger, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Williams' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mario Pedraza, who rushed for 107 yards and three TDs on only ten carries. Pedraza also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending one pass. Another signal caller making a difference was Jack Dent, who threw for 127 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes.

Mohave Accelerated's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Williams, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Mohave Accelerated will square off against Baboquivari at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. As for Williams, they will head out on the road to take on Superior at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 955 yards in their previous games.
