Basketball Recap: Pulaski County Takes a Loss

Pulaski County and Abingdon squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Pulaski County had to settle for second. They took a 70-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Abingdon Falcons. The Cougars have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Pulaski County's record now sits at 18-6. As for Abingdon, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

Pulaski County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Abingdon, they will take on Lord Botetourt at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lord Botetourt will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Abingdon surely won't give up without a fight.
