After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Delta Charter, Block was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Delhi 6-4. The win continues a trend for Block in their matchups with Delhi: they've now won nine in a row.

Block's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-14. As for Delhi, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Block didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 defeat against Peabody on the 27th. As for Delhi, they will be playing at home against Delta Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Storm have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.63 runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of.
