Basketball Recap: Spooner Comes Up Short

Spooner lost against Cumberland back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spooner Rails had to suffer through a 78-51 loss at the hands of the Cumberland Beavers.

Spooner's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cumberland, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Spooner will challenge Ladysmith at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ladysmith has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 209 points over their last three contests. As for Cumberland, they will take on Barron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
