Basketball Recap: The Noble Academy Gets the Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but The Noble Academy had no problem doing just that on Sunday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 28-25 win over the Golder Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Griffins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The Noble Academy can attribute much of their success to Diana Gidey, who posted 13 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Gidey has scored at least a third of The Noble Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Noelia Santiago, who had seven points.

The Noble Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-10. As for Golder, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

As of now, neither The Noble Academy nor Golder have any future games scheduled.
