Soccer Game Preview: Russell County vs. Dale County

Russell County will head out on the road to challenge Dale County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Russell County's offense. They lost 10-0 to Auburn on Thursday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Dale County didn't have quite enough to beat Eufaula on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Warriors have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Dale County's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Russell County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Russell County's way against Dale County when the teams last played back in February of 2020, as Russell County made off with a 7-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Russell County since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
