Basketball Game Preview: Leland & Gray Rebels vs. Arlington Memorial Eagles

Leland & Gray and Arlington Memorial are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Leland & Gray Rebels will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against the Arlington Memorial Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Leland & Gray saw some tournament action on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 52-25 loss at the hands of Burr & Burton. The Rebels have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Arlington Memorial came up short against Brattleboro on Saturday and fell 42-31.

Arlington Memorial's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. As for Leland & Gray, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Leland & Gray ended up a good deal behind Arlington Memorial in their previous matchup on Friday, losing 33-18. Can Leland & Gray avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
