Five-star recruit Cam Akers capped off his illustrious high school career in breathtaking fashion on Friday night.

The 5-foot-11, 213-pound standout shed off two tacklers and carried another defender 5-plus yards for a breathtaking 36-yard touchdown run to help Clinton (Miss.) capture a Mississippi Class 6A state title with a 49-35 victory over Pearl (Miss).

The nation's No. 5 overall prospect by 247Sports also went off for 445 total yards and seven total touchdowns in a mesmerizing performance, according to the Jackson Clarion-Ledger.



The country's second-rated senior running back totaled 3,128 passing yards, 2,105 rushing yards and 65 total touchdowns during his senior year.
