Basketball Recap: Carney Piles Up the Points Against Paden

Carney had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Paden Pirates 68-38. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Pirates back in December of 2024, they had to take a 58-53 defeat.

Carney is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Paden, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Carney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-40 defeat against Dewar on the 25th. Paden has also already played their next game, a 60-58 loss against Union City on the 25th.
