Football Recap: AHSTW Takes a Loss

AHSTW was the 36-0 winner over Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center when they last played one another back in September of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings took a blow against Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center on Friday, falling 42-14. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 144th, while Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center are ranked 47th).

AHSTW now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. AHSTW is set to square off against their familiar foe Central Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center will take on rival Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
