Basketball Recap: Cannelton Comes Up Short

Cannelton lost against Columbus Christian back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cannelton Bulldogs took a 38-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbus Christian Crusaders.

Cannelton's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Columbus Christian, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Cannelton and Seven Oaks Classical will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Columbus Christian, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Riverton Parke at 4:30 p.m. on December 27th.
