Basketball Recap: Blanco Starts off Right with Win over Great Hearts Northern Oaks

Blanco took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Great Hearts Northern Oaks Griffins by a score of 45-33.

Blanco's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ashton Uballe led the charge by putting up 13 points in addition to eight steals and seven boards. Uballe has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinley Boyd, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.

Looking ahead, Blanco will venture away from home to face off against Medina at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Great Hearts Northern Oaks, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on The Christian School at Castle Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
