Basketball Game Preview: Indian Springs Student vs. Montevallo Bulldogs + Official Tickets

Indian Springs hasn't had much luck against Montevallo recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Student will square off against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Montevallo took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Indian Springs, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Indian Springs humbled Holy Family Catholic with a 73-35 victory. That 38 point margin sets a new team best for the Student this season.

Meanwhile, Montevallo suffered their closest loss since January 23rd on Thursday. They fell just short of Westminster School at Oak Mountain by a score of 62-60.

Indian Springs is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points over those games. As for Montevallo, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Indian Springs couldn't quite get it done against Montevallo in their previous meeting back in November as they fell 56-48. Can the Student avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
