Basketball Recap: Ottawa Hills Takes a Loss

Ottawa Hills lost against Toledo Christian back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Ottawa Hills Green Bears were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to the Toledo Christian Eagles. The game marked the Green Bears' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Ottawa Hills' defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Toledo Christian, their record now sits at an identical 4-2.

Ottawa Hills will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Toledo Christian will take on Miller City in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Miller City will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Toledo Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
