Volleyball Recap: Wisconsin Lutheran Comes Up Short

Wisconsin Lutheran was the 2-1 winner over Burlington when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell just short of the Demons by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Nicalai Eismann paced Wisconsin Lutheran's offense, picking up 12 kills. Eismann got some help from Gigi Chasco and her 17 assists. Finally, Tyler Hill kept Wisconsin Lutheran's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Wisconsin Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 23-13. As for Burlington, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Wisconsin Lutheran and Burlington will both be playing Lake Country Lutheran the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Lightning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Demons will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
