Baseball Recap: Norwalk Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

While Norwalk put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Lynwood. The Lancers were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Knights. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

David Ibarra looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Israel Molina, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Marcus Castillo was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI.

Norwalk lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Norwalk's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-10. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Lynwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
