Softball Recap: Lincoln Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Lincoln strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 19-1 margin over the Stagg Delta Kings. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Mallory Wagner, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February of 2025. Jade Porter was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Lincoln always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stagg only posted an OBP of .211.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Stagg, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Lincoln will head out to face off against Varsity Opponent at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Stagg, they will host Venture Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
