Basketball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity lost against Lexington Catholic back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trinity Shamrocks were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to the Lexington Catholic Knights. While the Shamrocks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 19-9 in the first quarter.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Lexington Catholic, they pushed their record up to 14-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Trinity has already played their next match, a 79-70 defeat against Cathedral on the 8th. As for Lexington Catholic, they will take on Madison Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
