Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Arthur). They were the clear victor by an 18-5 margin over the Abbeville Wildcats on Saturday. With that win, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.9 runs per game.
Layla Gauthier made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Gauthier was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024.
