While Queen Anne's County's win against Kent Island wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Buccaneers on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Noah Palmer, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Chance Hegedus also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

The victory got Queen Anne's County back to even at 6-6. As for Kent Island, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Queen Anne's County will challenge Wicomico at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Kent Island, they will be playing at home against North Caroline at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
