Ponchatoula entered their tilt with St. Paul on Tuesday with nine consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with ten. They blew past the St. Paul's Wolves 71-43. Given the Green Wave's advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Wolves are ranked 88th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ponchatoula's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 20.5 points. As for St. Paul's, their loss dropped their record down to 14-12.

Coincidentally, Ponchatoula and St. Paul's will both be playing Mandeville the next time they take the court. St. Paul's will head out to face Mandeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Ponchatoula will host them at 7:00 p.m. on February 19th.
