Softball Recap: Wapsie Valley Comes Up Short

Wapsie Valley entered their game against West Delaware on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Warriors took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks.

Wapsie Valley's loss dropped their record down to 17-2. As for West Delaware, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wapsie Valley will host Sumner-Fredericksburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Delaware, they will be playing at home against Independence at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Hawks are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
