Basketball Recap: Santana's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Santana won the last time they faced High Tech Mesa and things went their way on Thursday too. The Sultans came out on top against the Thunder by a score of 38-28. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Sultans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Santana's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for High Tech Mesa, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Santana will challenge Morse at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Sultans' defense better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 67.2 points per game this season. As for High Tech Mesa, they will face off against Sweetwater at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
