Preview: Heritage Patriots vs. Stockbridge Tigers
The Heritage Patriots will be home for the holidays to greet the Stockbridge Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Heritage pushed their score all the way to 66 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 78-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of Loganville.
Heritage's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kirk Seeley, who scored 21 points, and Donavyn Gates who scored 16 points. Seeley scored a full 31.8% of Heritage's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gary Oliver, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Stockbridge ended up a good deal behind Locust Grove on Saturday and lost 53-38. Stockbridge has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Stockbridge, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
