Football Game Preview: Maynard Tigers vs. Assabet Valley RVT Aztecs + Official Tickets

The Maynard Tigers will head out to square off against the Assabet Valley RVT Aztecs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Assabet Valley RVT took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Maynard, who comes in off a win.

Maynard was handed a 21-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Oakmont Regional 29-28. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Assabet Valley RVT came up short against Burncoat on Friday, falling 32-8.

Maynard's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Assabet Valley RVT, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything went Maynard's way against Assabet Valley RVT in their previous meeting back in November of 2016, as Maynard made off with a 22-0 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Aztecs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
