Softball Recap: Montgomery County Indians vs. Wolfe County Wolves

Montgomery County blew Wolfe County out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Wolfe County got their revenge. Montgomery County fell just short of Wolfe County by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Indians couldn't push the score so high this time.

Ryleigh Martin was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Martin was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Addison Rodgers was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
