Handley has gone a perfect 6-0 against Woodland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Handley Tigers take on Woodland Bobcats at 2:00 p.m. Handley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Handley came up short against Valley and fell 6-2. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaleb Powel was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits.

At the plate, Brody Esttes made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

The home team had won the previous two meetings between Woodland and Wadley, and Woodland kept the tradition alive. Woodland blew past Wadley 13-3 on Thursday.

Woodland's victory bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Handley, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

Handley came out on top in a nail-biter against Woodland when the teams last played back in February, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Handley since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
