Basketball Preview: Skyline Thunderbirds vs. Attica Bulldogs
The Skyline Thunderbirds will be playing at home against the Attica Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Skyline fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took down Stafford 48-30 on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Attica entered their tilt with the Falcons with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Attica came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 54-44 on Friday. Given Attica's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Falcons are ranked 310th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Skyline's victory ended a 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-12. As for Attica, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
