Volleyball Recap: Calvert Takes a Loss

Calvert lost against North Zulch back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs.

While Calvert was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into North Zulch's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12, 25-19.

Calvert's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for North Zulch, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-17.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Calvert is set to take on their familiar foe Dime Box at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Zulch will square off against rival Buckholts at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
