Basketball Recap: St. Ansgar Takes a Loss

St. Ansgar was the 46-45 winner over West Fork when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Ansgar Saints took a hard 59-43 fall against the West Fork Warhawks on Friday.

St. Ansgar's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 12-5. As for West Fork, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

St. Ansgar will challenge Crestwood at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Crestwood will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something St. Ansgar surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Fork, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Butler at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
