Basketball Recap: Petersburg Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Demitrius Mendez and Lucas Rendon

Petersburg saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 37-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ralls Jackrabbits.

Petersburg's loss came despite strong showings from Lucas Rendon and Demitrius Mendez. Rendon posted 14 points, while Mendez had ten points.

Petersburg now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Ralls, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Petersburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-28 defeat against Woodson on the 14th. Ralls and New Deal will compete for holiday cheer at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
