Gilroy has gone a perfect 5-0 against James Lick recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Comets at 6:00 p.m. Gilroy is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Gilroy didn't have quite enough to beat Overfelt and fell 3-2.

Gilroy took Overfelt into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking ten-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 18-25, 21-25, 15-5.

Meanwhile, James Lick lost 3-0 to Gunderson on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Comets in their meetings with the Grizzlies: they've now lost seven in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 25-18.

James Lick's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Gilroy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Gilroy got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against James Lick by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Comets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
