Basketball Recap: Two Rivers Takes a Loss

Two Rivers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jessieville Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-39 back in January.

Two Rivers' defeat dropped their record down to 2-25. As for Jessieville, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-19.

Two Rivers has already played their next matchup, a 66-36 loss against Mayflower on the 14th. As for Jessieville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-29 defeat against England on the 14th.
