Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Jaylen Wollangk stepped things up a notch to give Mesquite the 'W'. Wollangk did his part (and then some), scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals in the win.
Wollangk and Mesquite will head out on the road to face off against Arcadia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mesquite got just the result they wanted when they last faced Arcadia, probably because Wollangk had a great game then too: he scored four points along with 12 assists and two steals.
