Basketball Recap: Dominion Comes Up Short

Dominion lost against Tuscarora back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dominion Titans took a hard 70-53 fall against the Tuscarora Huskies. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 264th, while the Huskies are ranked 82nd).

Dominion has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. As for Tuscarora, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5.

Dominion will head out on the road to square off against Rock Ridge at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tuscarora, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Heritage at 7:15 p.m.
