There's no place like home for Pine Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Liberty Lancers on Thursday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by eight runs or more this season.

Aiden Wilson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Tristan Mullis was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs. Jake Holm was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Pine Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .545 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Pine Creek pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine Creek will face off against Fountain-Fort Carson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Liberty, they will challenge Discovery Canyon at 10:00 a.m. on the 26th.
