Basketball Recap: El Segundo Comes Up Short

El Segundo was the 74-69 winner over North when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The El Segundo Eagles took a 52-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Saxons on Tuesday.

El Segundo's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for North, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. El Segundo will head out to face off against South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. El Segundo is facing South at the right time seeing as South is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for North, they are taking a road trip to square off against Torrance at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
