Football Recap: Chariton Takes a Loss

Chariton fell victim to Woodward-Granger and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Hawks and fell 34-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Chargers haven't been shut out since back in September.

Chariton's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Woodward-Granger, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chariton will face off against rival Grand View Christian on Friday. Meanwhile, Woodward-Granger is set to challenge their familiar foe Clarinda at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
