Volleyball Game Preview: Temecula Prep Patriots vs. San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves

Temecula Prep is 1-7 against San Jacinto Valley Academy since April of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Patriots will head out on the road to face off against the Wolves at 5:00 p.m. San Jacinto Valley Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Temecula Prep, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Temecula Prep beat Hamilton 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

While Temecula Prep might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Hamilton scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 17-25, 25-18.

Meanwhile, San Jacinto Valley Academy came up short against Nuview Bridge on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-16.

San Jacinto Valley Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Temecula Prep, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Everything went Temecula Prep's way against San Jacinto Valley Academy in their previous matchup back in March, as Temecula Prep made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
