Football Recap: Soroco Comes Up Short

Soroco fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Lake County on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 30-28. The defeat leaves the Rams still looking for their first win of the season.

Soroco's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Lake County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Soroco is set to take on their familiar foe Plateau Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lake County will square off against rival Vail Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
