Liberty scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Chester Hambletonians by a score of 36-33. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 46-27 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Chester, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Liberty will host Ellenville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chester, they will square off against Sullivan West at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sullivan West will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Chester surely won't give up without a fight.
