Volleyball Recap: St. Luke's Episcopal Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Luke's Episcopal can now relate to. They came up short against the Mobile Christian Leopards on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Leopards this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat last Thursday.

Amelia Smith paced St. Luke's Episcopal's offense, picking up eight kills. Smith got some help from Baker Garside and her 19 assists. Colbie Acosta controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

St. Luke's Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 30-17. As for Mobile Christian, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 33-10.

As of now, neither St. Luke's Episcopal nor the Leopards have any future games scheduled.
