Basketball Recap: Immanuel Christian Comes Up Short

Immanuel Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. The game between the Lions and the Freedom Life Academy Patriots didn't end well, with the Lions falling 34-19. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-15 last Friday.

Immanuel Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Freedom Life Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Immanuel Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lake Area HomeSchool Sports at 6:00 p.m. on December 5. Freedom Life Academy has already played their next matchup (against Psalms Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
