Football Preview: Heritage Eagles vs. Ponderosa Mustangs

Ponderosa didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Ashton Smith, Cade Heiden, Charlie Ryan, and Mervin picked up one apiece.
Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Ponderosa, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3.
Friday's contest might be decided in the on the ground. Heritage has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 183.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Ponderosa struggles in that department as they've been averaging 196.2. It's looking like Friday's match might have some serious battles in the trenches.
