Softball Recap: Oak Hill's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

After flying high against South Charleston last Wednesday, Oak Hill came back down to earth. The Red Devils wound up with the same score they had in their last game (14-6), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Their defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Peyten Farrell was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 6-4. As for Greenbrier East, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Hill will host Nicholas County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Greenbrier East, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bluefield at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
