Baseball Recap: Godwin Heights Takes a Loss

Godwin Heights lost against Comstock Park on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolverines took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Godwin Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Comstock Park, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Godwin Heights and Comstock Park could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Wolverines will challenge South Christian at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank disadvantage (414 vs. 184). Meanwhile, Comstock Park (ranked 361st) will meet Spring Lake (ranked 29th) at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The timing isn't great for the Panthers: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while the Lakers have snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
