Volleyball Recap: Edgemont Comes Up Short

If Edgemont was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Philip on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Moguls took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hot Springs Bison on Saturday. The Moguls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bison apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Raelee Provorse paced Edgemont's offense, picking up eight kills. Provorse got some help from Kaylee Mergen and her seven assists. Allie Brunson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Edgemont's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hot Springs, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Edgemont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Pine Ridge on the 30th. As for Hot Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Mahpiya Luta on the 30th.
