Baseball Recap: Tioga Indians vs. Peabody Warhorses

Tioga scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Peabody Warhorses as the Tioga Indians made off with a 22-3 win. Considering Tioga has won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Patton Ferguson looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Alex Morrison was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Marcos Arellano, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

On Peabody's side, Malik Armstead made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-1.

The victory made it two in a row for Tioga and bumps their season record up to 13-9. As for Peabody, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-15.

Tioga has the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Holy Savior Menard at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
